The Makita 8-1/4 Inch circular saw works well on framing walls， floors， roofs， LVL， lumber， plywood， OSB， particle board and other materials. Other applications include plunge cutting， pocket cutting， bevel cutting， masonry and metal cutting. The 3 Inch maximum cutting capacity of the saw makes it ideal for framers， roofers and general contractors. Magnesium construction of the saw provides added strength and durability. Saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor that operates at a speed of 5200 RPM and gives enough power to dense lumber particles. It offers an optimum beveling capacity of 50 degree with positive stops at 22.5 degree and 45 degree for quick changes. Electric brake ensures maximum productivity and stops the blade quickly. Blade wrench and carbide-tipped blade facilitates smooth and easy changing of the blade. Two integral LED lights brighten up the work surface. The large levers have a rubber grip to enable one-handed adjustments and user comfort. Built-in dust blower clears the line of cut from any dust. The oversized number as well as the ruler markings is easy to read. Power cord has a reinforced design endures tough jobsite conditions. The rear handle and the blade case have a wider clearance distance for a better grip for users with large hands. Depth and beveling markings provide better operational control thus reducing user fatigue. Saw comes with a framing saw blade， hex wrench and a rip fence.
